Steven M. Karbank Since joining the Karbank Companies in 1979, Steven has been active in all facets of the companies’ operations: development, brokerage and property management. He has planned and developed more than 35 buildings comprising in excess of 3,500,000 sq. ft. of distribution, office, and R&D space in the Kansas City area and around the United States. He has completed numerous build-to-suit projects for companies such as General Electric, Farmers Group, Lifetouch Publishing, Sokkia, and Cross Tire. Some of the companies with whom he has recently negotiated sales and lease transactions include Farmers Group, AIG, Commerce Bank, Grundfos Pumps, Andre’s Confiserie and Sokkia. Steven is a graduate of Boston University with a degree in philosophy and psychology and the former President of the Boston University Alumni Association. Steven is a member of the Board of Directors of the Orangutan Foundation International and a member of the Board of Trustees of the Jewish Community Foundation of Greater Kansas City.
